【Abstract】 A new species, Ripersiella nicotiana, sp. nov., is described and illustrated on adult female in this paper. All type specimens are deposited in the Insect Collection of Department of Forestry Protection, Beijing Forestry University.Ripersiella nicotiana, sp. nov. (Fig. 1) Body of adult female on slide nearly elongate-oval, about 1.34 mm long, 0.69 mm wide. Antennae geniculate, 6-segmented, the sixth segment with 4 and the fifth segment with one sickle-like fleshy hair at their apex. Legs well-developed; claw slender, without digitules. Circuli numbering 0~2, when present, situated at centres of abdominal segment Ⅲ or both segments Ⅲ and Ⅳ , each circulus projecting, truncate conical, distal surface apparently retracted from surface, tipped with some small papilla-like projections. Eyes present. Cephalic plate present. Multilocular disc pore absent. Oral collar duct absent. Bitubular cerores only one size, distributed on dorsum and sub-marginal area of venter of body. Holotype: adult ♀, Shidian county (24.43°N, 99.09°E), Yunnan Province, on roots of Nicotiana tabacum L., 25-Ⅹ-1999, collected by LI Zheng-lan; Paratypes: 10 adult ♀♀, same data as holotype. Hosts: Nicotiana tabacum L., Triticum aestivum L. Comments: This new species closes to R. sabahica (Williams, 2004), but can be easily distinguished by absence of oral collar duct in the former, whereas the latter with oral collar ducts in both surfaces of body.更多还原
