带法向量的曲面简化
SURFACE SIMPLIFICATION WITH NORMAL VECTOR CALCULATION
【摘要】 提出一种网格曲面简化方法。为了得到简化后曲面好的显示效果,在简化时考虑保持曲面特征和曲面顶点法向量的计算。把提取出来的曲面特征加到网格曲面中,在简化的同时利用了法向量的经纬度表示为法向量的计算提出了显式表达式,并把经纬度表示用在简化曲面的加细上。最后的实验结果表明此方法得到好的显示效果。
【Abstract】 This paper presents a surface simplification method of 3D mesh.In order to get better display effect,preserving surface feature and calculating surface vertices normal vector are considered in the simplification.Surface feature extracted is added to the original mesh surface,longitude-latitude expression to normal direction in simplification is used at the same time which provides an explicit expression to the calculation of the normal vector of new vertices;longitude-latitude expression is also used in final surface refinement.The experimental results show that this method can provide a better display effect.
