【Abstract】 Thread connection is the most freguently used of all the ways of connection.We often need to draw thread connecting pieces when doing mechanical design drawing.this essay brings forward the principle and method of using AutoLISP for the CAD program to be used for thread fast plotting.this program, once developed, can plot various kinds of internal and external screw threads rapidly and accurately, and add central signs, and the dimension of the tooth top and the tooth bottom is completely accurate.
