速射武器身管用钢的白层形成及剥落机制

【摘要】 通过高压烧蚀试验对两种速射武器身管用钢进行了模拟发射测试。组织观察表明:在高速燃烧气流冲击下,钢管内壁形成大量硬而脆的白层,并在白层内产生不同形态的裂纹,同时白层内形成明显的腐蚀,加剧了裂纹的扩展并导致材料的剥落。在此基础上,提出速射武器钢管的失效方式为白层形成和剥落机制。

【Abstract】 A series of simulated firing tests for two kinds of rapid-firing gun steels were conducted through high pressure ablation experiments. The microstructure observation indicates that large amount of hard and brittle white layers are formed at the inner surface of the pipe shaft under impingement of high speed combustion air flow. Different morphologies of cracks form in the white layers. Meanwhile, the apparent corrosion accelerating development of the cracks and leading to spalling off of the white layers are found in the white layers. Failure modes of rapid-firing gun steel were proposed, namely formation and spalling off of white layer.
