Metal complex aluminum hydrides are considered as one of the most promising hydrogen storage materials due to their large hydrogen content.At present,the investigations are mostly focused on NaAlH4 and LiAlH4.The research development of the principle of absorbing/desorbing hydrogen,the effect of the catalyst type and preparing process,and the thermodynamics and kinetics of absorbing/desorbing hydrogen are reviewed.
