【Abstract】 Rock garden, known as rockery or alpine garden as well, is a kind of special garden that features extensive use of plants native to rocky or alpine environments. This article introduces the history of rock gardens all over the world, as well as their recent developments, and proposes some suggestions on how to create rock gardens in China by incorporating domestic elements and geographic characteristics together through detailed comparison of the rock garden and the traditional rockwork garden.更多还原
