【Abstract】 Through a questionnaire and the teaching experiments,the paper analyzes the effects of background knowledge on English majors’ listening comprehension,pointing out that the effects are mainly reflected in "top-down processing" and the students’ listening comprehension is at the same time affected by different question types.The paper also emphasizes the importance of the establishing and improving schemata,and the importance of efficiently applying listening strategies.更多还原
