EPS的特性及其在上埋涵管(洞)减荷中的应用
Properties of EPS and Its Application in the Reducing-load of the Vertical Soil Pressure on the Buried Culvert(or Pipe)
【摘要】 聚苯乙烯泡沫塑料(EPS)具有一定的强度、压缩性好、不易老化、耐腐蚀、自立性强、施工方便等优点,己经在土木工程领域有了较为广泛的应用。文章在室内试验和前人研究成果的基础上,阐述了EPS的特性及在上埋涵管(洞)减荷中的应用,结果表明,EPS是目前较为理想的上埋涵管(洞)减荷材料,用EPS做上埋涵管的减荷材料可大幅度降低高填土上埋式管(洞)顶部和侧面的土压力,降低幅度可达20%~50%。同时,指出了在EPS作为减荷材料广泛应用之前,尚需解决的问题。
【Abstract】 EPS(Expanded Polystyrene) materials have the features of a certain strength,good compressibility,anti-ageing,corrosion resistance,well supporting itself and convenient construction procedure.They are now widely used in civil engineering because of their unique features.On the basis of laboratory test and the elder generation’ research results,the paper introduces the properties of EPS and the application of EPS in the reducing-load of the vertical soil pressure on the buried culvert(or pipe).The results indicates that EPS is a kind of good material to reduce the soil pressure on the top and side on the buried culvert(or pipe),and the effect is distinct,which was decreased about 20%~50%。In the meantime,the existing problems in engineering application are also suggested.
