【Abstract】 This paper outlines the application status of optical detection method in different research fields of partial discharge, including PD optical spectrum analysis, PD light pulse detection, PD location, degradation mechanism of electrical insulation, and PD electromagnetic wave propagation characteristics, etc. Various test methods and results are also presented. At last, the present problems and developing trend of the PD optical detection for high voltage electrical equipment are discussed.更多还原
