【摘要】 帧内预测模式选择是影响H.264编码速率的瓶颈问题。在分析H.264帧内预测算法基础上,提出了一种快速模式选择算法。该算法利用16×16块帧内预测后的SAD值判断是否能够跳过4×4块帧内预测;在4×4块帧内预测中根据SAD特征缩小候选模式范围。实验结果表明:该算法较大地提高了帧内编码速度,同时保证图像质量下降在可接受范围之内。更多还原

【Abstract】 Intra-prediction mode selection in H.264 is the bottleneck of encoding.A fast mode selection algorithm is proposed based on the analysis of H.264.According to SAD value of Intra-16×16,the algorithm decides whether Intra-4×4 can be skipped.On the other way,it utilizes the SAD values of 4×4 block to filter out some less probable modes.Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm increases the speed of intra coding significantly and guarantees the image quality.更多还原
