【Abstract】 Adiponectin is a specific plasma protein secreted by adipocytes.Adiponectin and its genetic polymorphisms are close relative to diabetic macrovascular diseases.Adiponectin can suppress inflammation and adhesion of vascular endothelial cells,differentiation of macrophages into foam cells and proliferation of smooth muscle cells.Adiponectin can also improve glucose and lipid metabolism.In summary,adiponectin offers protection against cardiovascular disease through its anti-atherosclerosis.更多还原
