【Abstract】 Polycentricity is a dynamic concept related to geographical, social-economical and political factors. In order to understand and apply this concept in urban and regional planning in a better way, this paper describes the multi-signification of polycentricity by Configuration, Function and Governance in the first, then describes the dynamic characters of polycentricity with scale-dependent and process-dependent. In the end, this paper analyses the development of polycentricity in Chinese city-region, and points out its basic characters and possible development trends.更多还原
