【Abstract】 Several practical schemes of PMD mitigation and PMD compensation in high-speed long-haul WDM transmission systems. The benefits and implementation considerations of these techniques are discussed. It is shown that these schemes may become attractive to combat PMD in future high-speed long-haul WDM systems which offer improvement at potentially low cost and remain effective.更多还原
