【Abstract】 By clarifying the concepts related to the conservation planning for historical and cultural conservation districts, the paper points out the key to the conservation planning is to define the "Control Line". In terms of planning contents, the historical architecture conservation plan and environmental elements conservation plan constitute important components of conservation plan of historical and cultural conservation districts.
