温度、盐分和储藏时间对多花柽柳种子萌发的影响
Study on the Effects of Temperature,Salinity and Storing Time on the Germination of Tamarix hohenackeri Seeds
【摘要】 通过研究储藏时间、温度以及不同浓度NaC l溶液对多花柽柳种子萌发的影响,结果表明:多花柽柳种子褐色,棒状,长(0.368±0.005)mm,宽(0.172±0.004)mm,千粒重(20.518±2.500)mg;种子寿命约240 d;在5/15℃,5/25℃,15/25℃和25/35℃(光/暗=12/12 h)4个温变周期下,多花柽柳新成熟种子的萌发率均在90%以上,且彼此间差异不显著;盐分浓度小于0.2 mol/L时不抑制种子萌发,大于0.6 mol/L时萌发率随盐浓度的增高而降低,直至为零,且复水后恢复萌发率低,表明NaC1处理后的部分种子永久地失去萌发力。最后探讨了多花柽柳种子的萌发行为对荒漠环境的适应意义。
【Abstract】 Tamarix hohenackeriis a dominant shrubby perennial plant inhabiting in saline deserts of Xinjiang,China.In this study,an experiment of the germination of T.hohenackeriseeds is carried out so as to reveal the seed longevity and the effects of temperature,salinity and storing time on seed germination and germination recovery from the effects of saline conditions when seeds are moved to distilled water.A T.hohenackeriseed is(0.368±0.005) mm in length and(0.172±0.004) mm in width;the mass of 1000 seeds is(20.518±2.500) mg.The results reveal that the germination percentage of seeds is decreased when seeds are stored at naturally-fluctuating temperatures in laboratory.The seed viability lasts for only about 240 days.Freshly harvested seeds can germinate well at four different thermoperiods(5/15 ℃,5/25 ℃,15/25 ℃ and 25/35 ℃).There are no significant differences in germination percentages at four different thermoperiods.Germination of seeds is not significantly affected by NaCl solution with concentrations lower than 0.2 mo1/L,but it is significantly decreased in NaCl solution with concentration of 0.6 mol/L,and there are no seeds to germinate in NaCl solution with concentration of 0.8 mol/L.Seeds can incubate in NaCl solution with concentrations of 0.05~1.00 mol/L for 8 days after they are moved to distilled water for recovering.However,seed germination in NaCl solution is low,which reveals that some NaCl-treated seeds may lose their germination capability.
