【Abstract】 As a sophisticated academic novelist,A.S.Byatt often writes with a high consciousness of literary and philosophical theory,which becomes very characteristic of her literary works.This paper argues that her recent novel The Biographer’s Tale is a critical fictionalization of some post-structural discourses,especially the ideas of "disappearance of the author" and "the textualization of history".Through the literary manifestation,the novel thematically exposes the inadequacy of the theory of post-structuralism.更多还原
