The Role of Avian leukosis virus Thansmembrane Protein in Membrane Fusion and Immunosuppression
【Abstract】 The key point of Avian leukosis virus(ALV) invading host cell is the fusion of virus envelope and host cell membrane.According to some report,ALV adopts virus-host cell membrane fusion mechanism in entry process and the subsequent conformation change of transmembrane protein after virus binding to cell receptor playing an important role in this mechanism. In addition, after invading host cell,ALV can trigger serious immunosuppression which may induce tumors. In the research of some viruses which have the same infection mechanism as ALV informing us it is also the transmembrane protein that educing decisive role in immunosuppression. Therefore, the further study of transmembrane protein on the molecular level can help us recognize the invading essence and prevent or heal the infection of ALV effectively.
