流动碱性电解质直接硼氢化物燃料电池

【摘要】 介绍了Ag(I)单晶还原法。应用此法制备的Ag/C催化剂的电催化活性,与Ag2O还原法相比,显著增强。以Ag(I)单晶还原法制备的Ag/C为阴极催化剂,以担载在高比表面VulcanXC-72R碳上的Au为阳极催化剂,组装了一种流动碱性电解质直接硼氢化钠-空气燃料电池。电池阳极极化程度较小,受温度影响不大,电池极化主要受阴极极化的影响。在25℃和70℃条件下,电池输出比功率分别达17、58mW/cm2。

【Abstract】 The Ag(I) single crystals reduction method was introduced. The electrocatalytic activity of Ag/C catalysts prepared by the method was significantly enhanced compared with that of Ag/C catalysts obtained by the Ag2O reduction method. A fuel cell was developed based on sodium borohydride, NaBH4, oxidation at the anode with a flowing alkaline electrolyte. The fuel cell consisted of an anode made of highly dispersed Au particles supported on high-surface area VulcanXC-72R carbon and a cathode made of Ag/C prepared by the Ag(I) single crystal reduction method. The polarization of the anode was smaller and less effected by the temperature, and the polarization of the fuel cell was mainly subjected to limit of the cathode polarization. 17 mW/cm2 and 58 mW/cm2 of power densities of the cell were obtained at 25 ℃ and 70 ℃, respectively.
