基于IEEE1588的数字化变电站时钟同步技术研究

【摘要】 IEEE1588是关于网络测量和控制系统的精密时间协议(precision time protocol,PTP)标准,其网络对时精度可达亚μs级。文章介绍了IEEE1588标准定义的高精度时钟同步的原理以及PTP时钟模型,针对遵循IEC61850标准的变电站通信网络拓扑结构,提出了IEEE1588在数字化变电站内的应用方案,讨论了各方案的优缺点,并给出了时钟设备的冗余配置方法及其功能实现。文章从理论上分析了IEEE1588标准的时钟同步误差,最后从全网的角度探讨了该标准的具体应用策略。

【Abstract】 IEEE 1588 defines a precision time protocol (PTP) for networked measurement and control systems, which supports systemwide synchronization accuracy in the submicrosecond range. This paper introduces the principle of high precision clock synchronization and the PTP clock models defined in IEEE 1588 standard. According to topological structure of substation communication network conforming to IEC 61850 standard, application schemes of IEEE 1588 in digital substation are proposed, and their advantages and disadvantages are also discussed. Then the redundancy configuration method of clock unit and its function implement are given. Clock synchronization error of IEEE 1588 standard is theoretically analyzed. At last, concrete systemwide application strategies of IEEE 1588 standard in area power network are researched.
