【Abstract】 Madame Bovary is one of the representative works written by the French writer Gustave Flaubert,a critical realist in the middle 19th century.This full-length novel reveals that Emma,the heroine,has been pursuing an empty romance,but she has to be tied down to debts and fall into an abyss of death in the end.This paper discusses the protagonist’s tragic destiny from the perspective of narrative person tragic destiny for the sake of sheding much light on the understanding of Madame Bovary.更多还原
