【Abstract】 This paper analyzes the impact on countries, cities and regions of the world brought by economic globalization. It points out that the global flow of capital, commodity, information and population all over the world have closely linked with the global economies and promoted the industrialization and urbanization in developing countries so as to bring significant changes to the cities in each field and construct a global city system. So, cities have become core power which countries use to participate in global competition. Combined with Chinese situation, this paper brings forward that Chinese urbanization should be oriented on the resource-saving and on the industrial road characterized with low energy and resource consumption and high efficiency. It also believes that in the urbanization process service-oriented and information-oriented cities should be encouraged to develop on the foundation of the integration of regions and urban and rural areas.更多还原
