【Abstract】 As a headstream in urban planning system, general urban planning plays an instructive role for each specific urban planning. So, taking the assessment on environmental impact into the general urban planning will contribute to the reduction of environmental pollution, ecological demolishment and the cost of environmental protection, and then improve the urban sustainable development.
