盐酸介质中十二烷基苯并三氮唑对碳钢的缓蚀作用
Corrosion Inhibition of Mild Steel in Hydrochloric Acid by N-Dodecyl Benzotriazole Cationic Surfactant
【摘要】 研究了十二烷基苯并三氮唑(DBCS)阳离子表面活性剂的缓蚀性能。通过失重法、极化曲线和SEM考察了该表面活性剂在1.0mol/LHCl中对碳钢的缓蚀效果,并对缓蚀机理进行了讨论。结果表明:在温度为40℃时,随缓蚀剂DBCS浓度的增加,缓蚀效率增加。当浓度为30mg/L时该表面活性剂即表现出优异的缓蚀性能,腐蚀速率仅为2.3g/(m2.h),缓蚀率达98.9%。扫描电镜显示该表面活性剂可在碳钢表面形成致密完整的吸附保护膜,阻碍碳钢的腐蚀。极化曲线表明,该表面活性剂属于阴极抑制为主的混合型缓蚀剂。
【Abstract】 The inhibition behavior of N-dodecyl benzotriazole cationic surfactant(DBCS)for mild carbon steel in 1.0 mol/L HCl medium was investigated by means of weight loss measurement,polarization curve plotting,and scanning electron microscopic(SEM)observation.The inhibition mechanism of the inhibitor was discussed.Results showed that the inhibition efficiency at 40 ℃ increased with increasing concentration of DBCS,and DBCS at a concentration of 30 mg/L had excellent inhibition performance for mild steel,recording an inhibition efficiency of 98.9%and a corrosion rate of 2.3 g/(m2·h).SEM observation indicated that a compact adsorption film of DBCS was formed on the surface of the mild steel,which accounted for the effective corrosion inhibition of the mild steel.Moreover,it was seen from the polarization curve that DBCS could be classified as a mixed type inhibitor dominated by cathodic inhibition.
