【Abstract】 Through evaluatoin and screening of 28 accesions cultivars which belong to three types of cultivar population of taro with numerous cormels in xeric environment, we thought that Mashanbai Taro-2 was the best cultivar, and Fasibaihe Taro, Jianghanmao Taro, Chikan Taro, Wuyu No.1, Jianghan Taro were better cultivars in green-pitiole cultivar population. Baxianyudonghan Taro was the best cultivar, and Wuyu No.2, Caotanghan Taro were better cultivars in purple-petiole cultivar population.
