【Abstract】 Most of the domestic float glass furnace choose heavy oil as its fuel while a few choose natural gas,coke oven gas and producer gas as their fuel.As different fuels has different calorific values the corresponding theoretical and practical combustion temperature,reachable hot spot temperature on the wall of furnace will be various according to chosen fuel.This leads to different specific energy consumption and thermal efficiency for different fuel used in glass furnace. An empirical equation of specific energy consumption calculation for glass furnace employed different fuels was given in this paper.更多还原
