【Abstract】 The work done by back washing water may be divided into 3 parts: work done by the shear force of water,work done by the lifting force of water and work done for sand collision and friction,and the formulas for calculating their values were given in this paper.The calculated results for a sand layer of a filter indicate that the work done by the collision and friction makes more contribution to remove the mud from the sand particles than the work done by the shear force.更多还原
