无机粘土做交联剂制备聚(N-异丙基丙烯酰胺)微凝胶
The synthesis and characterization of PNIPAM microgels with clay as cross-linker
【摘要】 本文以无机粘土(锂蒙脱石)作为物理交联剂,通过无皂乳液聚合制备了一组粒径在140nm至360nm之间且具有温敏性的聚(N-异丙基丙烯酰胺)(PNIPAM)微凝胶,并通过红外光谱、X射线衍射、动态光散射对所合成微凝胶的化学结构和温度敏感性进行了表征。研究表明,蒙脱土片层剥离,起到交联剂的作用;合成的微凝胶粒径在150nm至360nm之间;随着粘土的增加,粒径先降低后增加,而消溶胀度先增加后降低;所合成的微凝胶仍然具有良好的温敏特性,粘土含量的增加并没有改变微凝胶的相转变温度。
【Abstract】 Adopting inorganic clay (hectorite) as a physical cross-linker,a series of temperature-sensitive microgels based on poly(N-isopropyl-acrylamide)(PNIPAM) with a range of particle size from 150 nm to 360 nm are synthesized by surfactant-free emulsion polymerization method.The structure of the microgels is confirmed by FTIR and XRD.The temperature-sensitivity of the microgels is investigated by DLS.It is concluded that clay platelets could act as effective multifunctional cross-linking agents.With increasing clay dosage,the particle size tends to decrease,but increases at higher clay content.
