【Abstract】 This article explores the grammaticalizationai process of Li(里).It is pointed out that the Li(里/哩) which has many functions such as attributive marker,adverbial marker,modal marker and so on in Henan(河南)Mandarin comes from the locative noun Li(里).The medial position activates the grammaticalization of Li(里)from a locative noun to a attributive marker,and this attributive marker continue to develop into a complementizer and a modal particle.This paper also assumes that the attributive markers in Xi’nan(西南)Mandarin may be derived from the same source as the Li(里)in Henan(河南)Mandarin.更多还原
