【Abstract】 Aiming at the problems existed in equipment maintenance of oil pipelines such as blind dismount, blindly replacing repair, spare parts assembled reversely and misusing gaskets or fasteners, analysis is conducted to such issues as maintenance techniques existed in maintenance quality, the quality of spare parts and surface dirt cleanup,and the cause of improper maintenance method and its consequence.
