【Abstract】 The essay selects some fragments from "The Father from China" in Maxine Hong Kinston’s China Men to explore the relationship between the various versions of Father’s immigration to America and different immigration ways of early Chinese American.From the viewpoints of the New Historicists,i.e.the relationship between text and history,this essay aims to analyze Kingston’s narrative strategy in terms of fiction and fact about Father’s immigration to America and its motivation and significance.更多还原
