【Abstract】 More attention has been paid to the research of sustainable development of urban foreign economic relations and trade.In the paper,the sustainable development of urban foreign economic relations and trade is defined,and it is thought to possess the following characteristics: steady increase of gross output value,continuous optimization of structure promoting,the growth of urban economy,contributing to society advancement with harmony,and ensuring the sustainable utilization of resources and environment.An index system for evaluating the development of urban foreign economic relations and trade is set up,the basis for selecting the indexes is analyzed,and the calculation of every index is illustrated.The index system has three merits: convenient to make spatial and temporal comparison between different cities;convenient to evaluate the overall effects of foreign economic relations and trade;and convenient to estimate the import and export benefits.The deficiency of the system is that some of the indexes are with certain indeterminate feature and need to be further studied.更多还原
