【Abstract】 On the basis of a pragmatic analysis of changing an indirect request from direct speech into indirect speech,the author thinks that traditional grammatical rules are restricted by some contextual factors,which should be given priority to in the change.In a certain context,such a change can be made by means of the grammatical rules for imperative sentences,that is,to communicate the addresser’s purpose to the addressee directly.更多还原
