【Abstract】 In this paper,an algorithm of vehicle license plate location based on edge color was given for the vehicle license plate location.The algorithm judged whether the fields were true license plate or not by the characters,such as the colors’ change,width,height,number of the license plate,and change of the character colors.Experiments verify that the algorithm can efficiently avoid the influence of light and weather condition,and that it has high precision and is very robust.The precision is 98.4%.更多还原
