【Abstract】 Research institute is one of the key elements of the social capital of Small-and-Medium-Sized Enterprises(SMEs).By cooperat- ing with research institutes,SMEs can get technological support and knowledge which facilitates their development.As their cooperation is characterized by high information asymmetry and uncertainty,the cooperation is not likely to be successful without a good base of mutual trust. The paper discusses how the trust structure is influencing the pattern and efficiency of SMEs-Research Institute cooperation,and how this trust structure is changing in the period of social transition in China.更多还原
