【摘要】 介绍了建设地方数据库的意义,提出了开发数据库面临的地方文献信息分布广、载体多样、收集困难;数据库建设技术手段落后,标准不规范;还有严重缺乏高素质的专门人才;以及建库资金难以筹集等问题。具体分析了高校图书馆建设地方文献数据库具有的文献资源丰富、专门的信息处理和图书情报专业人才以及现有的先进设备、还有高校专家、学者群体的数据库建设论证能力等优势,最后指出创建地方文献数据库的实施办法。更多还原

【Abstract】 This paper introduces the meaning of building a local database and analyzes such problems as: local document information is widely-spreading and has various carriers,which increases the difficulty in collecting it;the relative technical means are backward and there exists standard ambiguity;there is a severe shortage of professional personnel with creative ability and practical skill;and there is great difficulty in fund raising.Furthermore,this paper analyzes in details many advantages of local document database construction in college libraries. For instance,there are abundant document resources,specialized personnel in message processing,library and information,a group of scholars with argumentative skills in database construction.Finally it points out the practical methods of building a local document database.更多还原
