【Abstract】 Ducker theory on the role of management in the three phases of industrialization of western countries was introduced and the Taylor’s contribution to the Productivity Revolution was discussed.Based on the current economic status of China,China is now at the beginning of the second phase of industrialization.Therefore,the kernel task of production management at the current phase is to improve productivity.The impact of globalization of economy was briefly discussed and the problems in popularizing industrial engineering in China were presented.65更多还原
