基于AMBA总线USB控制器的SOC设计与验证
Design and verification of SOC for AMBA based controller
【摘要】 随着移动终端对USB接口的支持,USB设备的小体积和低功耗成为设计的两大目标,USB设备的SOC设计很好地满足了这两方面要求。如何选择可复用IP、总线连接和对各IP模块进行系统级验证是SOC设计的核心,同时USB协议自身实现和测试的复杂性,这些都是芯片设计成败的关键。本文通过一个基于ARM TDMI IP与USB1.1控制器IP的SOC设计与实现,阐述了多IPSOC的一般设计方法,同时给出了USB控制器的验证及调试方法。
【Abstract】 With mobile terminals supporting USB,small size and low power has became the design targets for USB controller.SOC-based USB device can satisfy these two requirements.Many factors,such as IP reuse,the connection between IPs with bus and system-level verification,are the keys to the design of SOC.In this paper,using a SOC design for USB1.1 controller based on ARM IP TDMI to elaborate the general design of SOC of multiple IPs,and giving the method of verification and debugging for USB controller.
