【Abstract】 Dry September is one of Faulkner’ famous short stories,which describes the tragic experience of the blacks under racial discrimination and attacked the ideology of racism. This terse and forceful work has great appeal which,in my opinion,results from the using of the dramatic elements. This paper tries to analyze the dramatic characteristics of the story in its narrative structure,plot development and character creation,and more,their aesthetic functions.更多还原
