【Abstract】 After making an analysis of the present situation of the IT applications in cities of Shanghai and Liu Zhou,the author of this article believes that infrastructural facilities of the IT application are comparatively perfect in these two cities,but utilization rates are still rather low.The author thinks that the enhancement of the information literacy education of urban residents plays a very important role in the IT application in cities,and it is also the foundation of the IT application in cities.Libraries should take an active part in the enhancement of the information literacy education of urban residents,and some related questions of the information literacy education of urban residents,including teaching contents,organizational forms and teaching methods have also been discussed in the article.更多还原
