【Abstract】 As a distinguished translator,Professor Xu Yuanchong is quite versatile.Besides his translation theorist,Xu Yuanchong is famous for his English translation of ancient Chinese poetry.Professor Xu has great achievements in the translation of novels,and has formed his unique translation style.The paper first discusses the relationship between Xu’s translation theory and translation of novels,then reveals his novel translation style through a comparative study of an English version,four Chinese versions,as well as the original French novel of The Red and the Black.更多还原
