【Abstract】 The construction of a harmonious society puts forward a higher requirement on the development of the insurance industry. At the same time, development of the insurance industry has also been conferred a deeper connotation that it should be a cornerstone of a harmonious society. Such a society requires the insurance sector to strengthen itself and expand its social coverage, fully exert its function of social management, further redistribute social resources, duly play its role in the allround, harmonious, and sustainable development of the economy, and play a bigger role in solving unexpected events or disasters. The development strategies of the insurance industry in an harmonious society includes cultivating a creditworthy insurance sector, proactively developing agricultural insurance, vigorously growing insurance business in less-developed areas, emphasizing insurance care to disadvantaged groups, strengthening order of operation, and advocating individualized and human-interest operation.更多还原
