Objective To investigate the role of proinflammatory cytokines in the mechanisms of cerebral palsy.Methods Thirty-one patients diagnosed as cerebral palsy, twenty healthy controls and neonates (n=37) who suffered hypoxic-ischemic injury and/or perinatal infection, and twenty healthy neonates who were used as controls were studied retrospectively.
