【Abstract】 It comprehensively presents the technology of soft-contact electromagnetic continuous casting for steel,which is an important approach for improving the surface quality of billet. Some unsolved key questions such as, the structure, the materials of mold, as well as, the parameters of electromagnetic field, are analyzed in order to apply this technique industrially in steel continuous casting. The new achievements including high-frequency amplitude-modulated magnetic field and mold oscillation-less electromagnetic continuous casting are also mentioned in this paper.更多还原
