TOC作为饮用水水质指标的探讨

【摘要】 以某城市管网末梢水TOC特征为例,对TOC与有机微污染程度指标的相互关系,以及作为优质饮用水指标的限量值作了研究与讨论。研究结果表明,该城市管网末梢水TOC分布范围1.0~4.0mg/L;在饮用水中TOC主要存在形式是以小分子量(<500)的溶解性有机物;TOC与CODMn、THMs含量及Ames试验致突变性存在良好相关性,当TOC<1.0mg/L时,THMs致癌风险较低,饮水Ames实验结果一般呈阴性。饮用水中TOC测定精度较高,可较全面反映饮用水中有机微污染程度,建议作为优质饮用水水质指标,TOC限量值为1.0mg/L。

【Abstract】 Based on the measured TOC data of the tap water from a city, with the combination of recently published papers, the relationship between TOC and organic micro-pollutants, and the possibility of TOC as a water quality indicator were discussed. The results showed that the TOC content of the tap water from the studied city are in the range of 1.04.0 mg/L, and are mainly DOC (dissolved organic carbon) with molecular weight less than 500. TOC has a good relationship with CODMn , THMs compounds and (Ames′test) mutagenic effect.. When TOC in a drinking water is less than 1.0 mg/L, the water has a lower content of THMs compounds and a negative result of Ames′test mutagenic effect. The TOC can be measured accurately in water, and represent the general organic micro-pollution. It is suggested the TOC content should be less that 1.0 mg/L as high-quality drinking water.
