【Abstract】 Objective:To investigate the effect of Buchang Naoxintong(NXT) on the level of vasoactive intestinal peptide(VIP) in plasma and hypothalamus in rats with middle cerebral artery infarction.Methods:The VIP content was measured via radioimmunoassay.Results:Oral treatment with NXT augmented the VIP level in plasma at the early acute phase of stroke,while the VIP content in hypothalamus decreased both in acute and chronic phases.Conclusion:NXT could modulate the VIP via different mechanisms during the development of stroke.更多还原
