黑龙江鸡西地区穆棱河南岸发现大型脊椎动物化石

【摘要】在1∶25万鸡西市幅区域地质调查中,于早白垩世晚期—晚白垩世早期阿尔布—赛诺曼期猴石沟组砂岩中发现大型脊椎动物化石。经野外初步鉴定,主要为恐龙(?)化石,此外还有龟化石和鱼化石。这些化石的发现对重新厘定地层时代、进行区域地层划分及对比具有重要意义。更多还原

【Abstract】 Many large vertebrate fossils were discovered in the sandstone of the late Early Cretaceous-early Late Cretaceous Albian-Cenomanian Houshigou Formation during regional geological survey of the 1∶250000 Jixi City Sheet. Through preliminary identification in the field, these fossils are mainly dinosaurs (?), and in addition there are also turtle and fish fossils. The discovery of these large vertebrate fossils has great significance for the redefinition of the stratigraphic age and regional stratigraphic division and correlation of the area.更多还原
