【Abstract】 The Van Fleck formula of several dinuclear and polynuclear metal complexes with typical geometrical models were deduced in detail, such as linear M_ i (i=2, 3 for s=1/2, 1, 5/2 and 7/2), high symmetrical M_ i (i=3, 4 for s=1/2, 5/2) and square Mi (_ i =4, 5 for s=1/2).
