【Abstract】 Based on deep analysis of the relations between basic mechanics and other related courses, the paper holds that in the reform of basic mechanics a new teaching system should be formed through optimizing the combination of course content and reducing repeated content to meet the demands of mechanics in the new teaching situation. Modern teaching approaches should be combined with traditional ones to arouse students ’study interest and increase classroom teaching efficiency.
