【Abstract】 Cyclization of trans-cinnamic acid with 4-methylphenol and then methylation afforded 3-(2-methoxy-5- methylphenyl)-3-phenylpropionic acid which underwent chlorination, amination, reduction and demethylation to give N,N- diisopropyl-3-(2-hydroxy-5-methylphenyl)-3-phenylpropylamine. By resolution with L-tartaric acid, tolterodine L-tartrate was obtained in 12% overall yield.更多还原
