【Abstract】 Objective: To tally up the characteristics of the maxillofacial space infection in elderly patients. Methods: To analyze the characteristics of etiology, onset, development and treatment of 31 cases of maxillofacial space infections in elderly. Results: odontogenic infection is the mainly cause of the maxillofacial space infection in elderly patients. The infection of the periodontal disorders and multi-spaces is usually found. Conclusion: According to the characteristics of the elderly patients and their maxillofacial space infection, early diagnosis and treatment should be emphasized.更多还原
